The rooms

Calm, warm, simple.

Two floors of suites over covered parking, a lift and stairs to every level, and a planted roof terrace on top. Each suite has a full bathroom, built-in closets and a balcony; the two-bedroom suites add a second bedroom and bathroom. Finishes are still being chosen — the pictures show the direction.

The roof

Dinner above the palms.

The whole roof is a terrace for the people staying here — a bar, tables for eating out under the sky, lounge seating and curtained cabanas, with the lift running all the way up. Solar panels on the cabana roofs give shade by day and help power the building.

Suites II sits next to the original Casabella Suites in San Nicolas — the island's second town, with its street murals, old bars and a coastline without resorts.
